We’re thrilled to announce we’ve partnered with bi-coastal tattoo and fine artist Scott Campbell to create the “Master & Dynamic x Scott Campbell” collection.
The product of this creative union is a capsule collection of four headphones featuring Scott’s original snake design artwork. Included in the collection are two MW60 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones in black metal with white or black leather and two MH40 Over-Ear Headphones in black metal with white or black leather.
“I have always thought Scott’s work was quite genius. When I met Scott in Hong Kong, I learned we shared a willingness to take risks in pursuit of our dreams, even if it means sometimes making mistakes. Through this collaboration Scott can share his art more broadly with his fans, whether or not they are collectors of his fine art or tattoo enthusiasts,” said Master & Dynamic’s Founder and CEO Jonathan Levine.
“Of course I’m a huge romantic. I love love and I believe in making love the utmost priority, and absolutely the smartest things I’ve ever done in my life were stupid things for love. Any time I have told the rational side of me to take the backseat and handed the steering wheel to my instincts and passions, they’ve always steered me in the right direction,” said Scott Campbell.
Louisiana-born Scott Campbell is known as one of the most talented tattoo and fine artists in the world. He lives in L.A. and owns Saved Tattoo in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, whose client list includes New York’s art and design elite, fashion designers and a long roster of celebrities. He has also gained attention for his work in the visual arts, most notably his intricately carved sculptures made of U.S. currency, his graphite drawings and a series of watercolor paintings based on his experiences during a six-week stay in a maximum security prison in Mexico City.
Coinciding with the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday, the MW60 Wireless Over-Ear and MH40 Over-Ear Headphones will be available for $549 and $399, respectively, at masterdynamic.com.
Each pair of headphones contains Scott’s heartfelt quote about trusting your passion on the inside of the ear pads, “The smartest things I ever did were stupid things for love.”
